We had a bit of everyting this morning - new member to the group - welcome to Dave Newbrook - Early morning sunshine, minor rain shower at the mid-point & blustery head winds all the way home making the going tough. Thanks to Chris Nosek for mapping this weeks 34 miles - out around Church Eaton - Wheaton Aston & Weston Park - a good ride. I also managed to fall off my bike today - glanced behind to make sure everyone had made it up the penultimate climb - then hit a large lump of turf on the roadside which threw me from my bike - luckily I wasnt going too fast & had a soft landing on the grass verge - only dented pride & bruised knee - but it goes to show how easliy accidents can happen?
Sue accompanied me on the ride out to our meeting point at the Clock Tower - then she rode home into a strong head wind - so 10 miles for Sue & 44 miles all-in-all for me.http://www.mapmyride.com/ride/united-kingdom/-telford/910125701642665828
